Mileage Communications Group Chairman visits staff in Yangon

On 6 December 2019, Mileage Communications Group Chairman Mr. Yap Boh Tiong visited Yangon on a two-day trip to spend time with staff from Mileage Communications Myanmar. Guided by Mileage Communications Myanmar staff members, Chairman Yap also managed to squeeze in an extensive tour of downtown Yangon, which is known for its leafy avenues and fin-de-siècle architecture.

During the trip, Chairman Yap called on Mr. John Jun, Managing Director of Mileage Communications Myanmar, and commended his team on their continued success. Chairman Yap and Mr. Jun further reaffirmed the close ties and excellent relationship between the Singapore headquarters and Yangon office.

Chairman Yap was hosted to a seafood dinner at Sedona Hotel Yangon by Mr. Jun and the Yangon-based staff, and took this opportunity to commemorate the achievements of the team in 2019. At the end of his trip, Chairman Yap was presented with an oil painting and lacquer ware as souvenirs from his trip to Myanmar.
